Veronica was born in the early 2000’s and started skateboarding in high school. Veronica is a first generation American born in Malibu, raised in the greater Seattle area, and currently back in California for a BFA in industrial design at California College of the Arts. Veronica primarily enjoys designing products bettering skateboarding, snowboarding, and the outdoor industry.

They are grateful to be supported by: DLX, Tactics, Coal Headware and more. They volunteer with Skate Like A Girl Seattle and SF Bay. Veronica is also a snowboarding alumni within the national SOS Outreach network.

Veronica enjoys skateboarding and finds it fulfilling to be giving back to the community, creating opportunities for future generations of skaters to come, and diversifying the narrative of a "typical" skateboarder as well as "industrial designer."

Land Acknowledgement

I am skating on stolen land. I am currently located in Huichin and Yelamu, also known as Oakland and San Francisco, on the unceded territories of Chochenyo and Ramaytush Ohlone peoples, who have continuously lived upon this land since time immemorial.

As for my upbringing, I want to recognize and acknowledge the Coast Salish peoples of this land (also known as the Greater Seattle Area), the land which touches the shared waters of all tribes and bands within the Duwamish, Puyallup, Suquamish, Tulalip and Muckleshoot nations.

I recognize the historic discrimination and violence inflicted upon Indigenous peoples in the Americas, including their forced removal from ancestral lands, and the deliberate and systematic destruction of their communities and culture.
